About Us
Open Aerial Yoga is Huntington Beach’s world famous Aerial Yoga and Sound Healing studio. We’re looking for a reliable, personable, and expirienced sales-driven Front Desk Sales Associates to join our team. This role combines sales responsibilities, customer service, and operational support to ensure our students have an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive and that our teachers can focus on teaching their amazing classes.
About You
Proven experience in sales, customer service, or hospitality.
Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping people.
Comfortable meeting and exceeding sales targets in a commission-based role.
Comfortable proactively creating sales opportunities by asking questions
Comfortable with firmly upholding studio polices
Physically able to perform cleaning & aerial rigging tasks on a 8ft tall ladder
Physical ability to set up event equipment.
Available evenings and weekends; flexibility for special events.
Position Overview
Our Front Desk Sales Associates play a key role in creating an outstanding first impression, driving membership sales, retaining current members, and keeping the studio running smoothly before, during, and after classes and parties. This position is perfect for someone who loves connecting with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is motivated by commission-based earnings.
Responsibilities
Opening & Studio Operations
Arrive before class starts to prepare the studio.
Light cleaning for all front desk, option to take on weekly deep cleaning shift
Monitor inventory and order more when supplies are low.
Troubleshoot studio technology (speakers, internet, credit card machine).
Light errands such as picking up print orders
Front Desk Sales & Guest Experience
Have a plan before class of high priority sales opportunities.
Greet every student by name with a warm smile and let them know we were expecting them.
Provide welcome packets and tours to new students.
Ensure waivers are signed before students access hammocks.
Ensure all guests have a credit card on file.
Educate and enforce safety policies (no jewelry, accessories, or items that could damage hammocks)
Help students book their next visit before leaving.
Proactively Convert intro offer students to monthly memebrships or class packages.
Collect Google reviews and Instagram follows.
Opt students into email and SMS marketing when permitted
Process in-person payments.
Handle failed payment follow-up.
Downsell membership cancellations when possible.
Downtime during class will be filled with various sales, marketing, and customer service tasks that will include multiple different softwares, spreadsheets, and social media.
Will be required to become proficient in Walla, Canva, Meta, Instagram, Facebook, Google Suite, and possibly more.
For the right person who shows quality work and trustworthiness, added hours may become available to help with more complex marketing and reporting needs.
Daily Sales Calls
Earn commission on every sale closed over the phone. You'll only be calling warm leads who contacted us first.
Compensation & Perks
Competitive hourly pay based on expirience

Available Shifts- times subject to slight changes
Monday-Friday 5pm-9pm
Thursdays start at 3:30 becuase kids class
Saturdays & Sundays 9:40am-12:40pm for public classes, plus most weekends have a need for help with parties usually until about 3pm
Plus our famous Aerial Sound Bath every
Sunday at 6:30pm-8:30pm
We have a current need for Tuesday and Thursday evenings, but can negotiate hours with current team to accomodate.
We can consider 1 person for Monday-Friday evenings, totaling 21.5 hours per week
