Front Desk Sales Associate

Open Aerial Yoga is an inclusive wellness sanctuary where our clients are invited to explore the physical and mental benefits of aerial yoga and sound healing through our classes and community.

Our front desk team members are advocates for the benefits of a regular aerial yoga and sound healing practice. They educate our clients on how they can reach their goals with a membership or class package that works best for their individual goals and schedule.

Open Aerial Yoga is seeking an enthusiastic Front Desk Sales Representative that will meet the following:

Qualifications

• Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills in person and over the phone

• Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales targets and an excitement about exceeding goals 

• Motivated by sales commissions 

• Strong customer service skills

• A background in retail or other sales position 

• Ability to learn and use Walla, Canva, & Google Sheets for tracking purposes 

• Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills via in person, phone and email

• Must be able to climb an 8ft ladder

• Must be able to lift 50lbs

• Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Ability to take initiative

• Schedule flexibility and variability

• Reliable transportation

• No history of late cancellations or no shows to our classes

A successful candidate will: 

• Report directly to management and communicate regularly with other front desk sales associates 

• Be responsible for prospect nurturing, new membership sales and the retention of current members.

• Meet and exceed assigned sales goals.

• Consistently create a warm, welcoming, and clean environment for clients.

• Genuinely enjoy connecting with customers, asking questions and building relationships and community.

• Have the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.

• Be comfortable calling people who inquire about our classes online

• Be passionate about what they are selling and confidently make intelligent recommendations based on the client's needs.

• Be high energy, positive and self-motivated.

• Assist with studio cleanliness, and occasional pop-up / marketing events within the community

• Conduct studio tours with new prospects to build rapport and facilitate sales

• Be knowledgeable about current products, programs and pricing

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Some sales experience, ideally in fitness or call center

• Available Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday evenings plus able to cover other shifts when needed

• Passion for yoga / aerial yoga and able to speak to benefits of what we offer

• Strong computer skills
